Client reports great satisfaction with the Icon Audio HP8 MKII Signature tube Headphone Amplifier with extended detail and a variety of Headphones.

To say that I am happy with the HP8 mkii that I got from you would be an understatement. Each of my main systems now have an amplifier that I can use with any of my headphones and enjoy for hours without missing what the other systems do. Each of these systems use an Oppo UDP 203 with a hard drive.

1) >bel canto DAC3>Boulder L5AE>Icon Audio HP8 MK II. Very natural sounding. Great punch & dynamics. Brings me up close to the performance and occasionally into the middle.

2) >Audio Research DAC8>ARC LS28se>Inspire IHA-1. In this amp the first gain stage is with transformers. Natural & dynamic but sets me further away from the stage.

3) >Bryston BDA-3>Mark Levinson No.326s>Benchmark HPA4. Natural, very smooth, absolutely quiet. Soundstage right in front, but distance between the 2 others.

Given that they were all hooked up to different systems with different cables results may vary. All in all I am very fortunate to be able to enjoy the music brought out by the HP8 mkii. It truely does justice to any headphone that I've hooked up to it.
