Greetings Group Members I came across this on Facebook and thought you might find it interesting. As someone who has been in the Music Industry all my life I have witnessed the advances in digital technology from the introduction of sampling back in the 80's. These modern technologies have directly effected the producing and creating of music and the delivery systems used. Now that AI has been introduced to the music world we are witnessing more technical changes. This could certainly explain in part that contemporary music offerings seem to require less musical talent and more dependence on technology. Having said that there is still a presence of outstanding musical talent and live music serves as a venue to deliver same.
