The recently introduced Stereo 40 6L6 to the Icon Audio family of integrated tube amplifiers offers a less expensive scaled-down version of the "Best Selling" Stereo 40 MKIV. Comes in Ultra-linear offering 30 watts pre side using four EL34 power tubes and 6H9C tubes in the first stage. It has been capacitor upgraded with silver/gold in oil Mundorf caps. This integrated amplifier design has removed the headphone support, UL/Triode selector switch, Standby feature and remote. Maintaining the Icon Audio warm tube sound this amplifier is ideal for the Audiophile that wants the sound of the Stereo 40 with less features and at a great price.
